- POS sends shopper identifier to Liquid Barcodes using Reserve request
- Liquid Barcodes replies with all personal rebates conditions
- POS applies personal rebates; requests new rebate conditions from Liquid Barcodes on match
- POS takes payment and closes the sale using Validate request
